
Bio:
Nate Zadzilka (he/him) is a future 2026 graduate at Baldwin Wallace University, where he is pursuing a Bachelor of Music Education (B.M.E.) with a Musical Theatre Emphasis. With extensive K–12 field experience, Nate is dedicated to delivering engaging, standards-aligned vocal music instruction that cultivates both musical excellence and meaningful student growth.
His field teaching experience spans elementary through high school settings, including placements at Hudson High School (Student Teaching, Spring 2026), Bay Middle School, Muraski Elementary, St. Albert the Great at Assumption Academy, and North Royalton High School. Across these diverse environments, Nate has designed differentiated instruction, supported full-ensemble rehearsals, assisted in music directing school musicals, prepared students for composer-in-residence performances, and fostered collaborative rehearsal cultures built on accountability and respect.
Beyond the classroom, Nate has served as Music Director for Honk Jr. at Fairmount Center for the Arts and Assistant Director for Camp Broadway through Baldwin Wallace Community Arts School. In these roles, he led daily rehearsals, taught vocal technique and health, adapted arrangements for young voices, and collaborated with directors, choreographers, and production staff to produce high-quality performances.
At the collegiate level, Nate has served as Student Conductor of the Baldwin Wallace Men’s Chorus, where he planned and led rehearsals, conducted sectional work, selected repertoire, and managed ensemble logistics. His leadership extends to his past roles as President of the American Choral Directors Association student chapter, Treasurer of Conservatory Student Council, and active membership in professional development organizations such as NAfME, OMEA, OCMEA, OCDA, and ACDA, through which he has attended various national and regional conferences (OMEA 2023, 2024, 2025, 2026 | ACDA National Conference 2023, Regional Conference 2024.)
